- Assistant Director
I've had terrific opportunities to work at several distinctly different institutions around D.C., the city where I've spent much of the last decade!
My admissions journey began while I was a student tour guide at the University of Maryland, which led to my working as an admissions counselor at Frostburg State University. I then returned to D.C. and spent several years across town at The Catholic University of America, earning my M.Ed. in higher education administration from Penn State University before joining the Undergrad Admissions team here at GW.
As a native Marylander, I'm a little obsessed with crabcakes, the Chesapeake Bay, and Baltimore sports -- living in the nation's capital means all of these great features are nearby, while I also get to come home to a city full of exciting culture and energy. There's nothing better than a weekend spent exploring the ever-changing neighborhoods around the District, and I especially love updating my personal rankings of the best pizza spots in town.
