GW's Fixed Tuition

GW's Fixed Tuition

In comparing costs of education and offers of financial assistance, GW takes the uncertainty out of what the future may bring. GW’s fixed-rate tuition plan gives our families a long-term, guaranteed outlook, compared to most other schools that provide only a one-year financial glimpse.

In an era of annual double-digit tuition increases, the benefit of GW’s fixed tuition plan is proven. Up front it allows families to know the cost of tuition for a GW education, not just for the first year, but through the conclusion of a degree program. Annual housing costs can be expected to be relatively stable and are likely affected by student choice with regards to the types of accommodations sought.

The tuition an entering student pays remains fixed for the entire undergraduate program as long as the student maintains continuous full-time enrollment and is registered for a minimum of 12 semester hours of study each fall and spring term. Students also get the flexibility of fixed tuition for up to 10 semesters of study, should a fifth year be required to achieve their academic goals.
