- Senior Assistant Director
Born in the small town of Halifax, Virginia, I’ve been a resident of the District of Columbia since 2014 when I joined The George Washington University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. I received my B.A. in History and Sociology from the University of Virginia, where I also began my career in undergraduate admissions. Between completion of my undergraduate studies and my career in admissions, I spent two years serving in the Virginia College Advising Corps/AmeriCorps where I worked to provide college access in two high schools in rural Virginia. I am currently pursuing my M.A. in Higher Education Administration at GW!
At GW I work primarily with students from East and Southeast Asia and Oceania. I am passionate about college access and equity and love making connections with my fellow first-generation college students! When I’m not spending time on airplanes, I enjoy exploring the cities I’m visiting; recommendations are always welcomed. I hope to see you all in your home cities, as well as here in Washington, D.C.
