While we want you to visit campus to experience GW and talk to us in person, you can still connect with us even if you can't make it to D.C. Our representatives travel throughout the world during the academic year. A sampling of our travel efforts are listed below. We encourage you to meet with us when we are in your area.


GW On The Road
Learn how students and faculty put knowledge into action to solve real-world issues and why they're proud to be Colonials. Hear about GW's many academic programs, research opportunities, internship options, and college life in Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Universities Tour
GW is teaming up with Southern Methodist University, Tulane University, Northeastern University, and New York University to introduce prospective students to the academic, interdisciplinary, and social experiences that are possible at each of our five unique institutions. Join admission representatives while we share the unique aspects of our schools and cities, as well as tips for the application process. These events will take place in Sacramento, CA; Hartford, CT; Boise, ID; Albany, NY; Buffalo, NY; Rochester, NY; Reno, NV; Salem, OR; Providence, RI; and Tacoma, WA.

Strategies for Success Tour
GW is traveling with Brown University, Cornell University, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Virginia for special programs to engage multicultural high school juniors and seniors and their families. These events will take place in Silver Spring, MD: Washington, D.C.; Baltimore, MD; Philadelphia, PA; and Newark, NJ.

The Princeton Review's Colleges that Create Futures Roadshow
Meet GW and representatives from Drew University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Marist College, Northeastern University, and the University of Dayton during the Colleges That Create Futures Roadshow. These events will include a panel discussion followed by a college fair.

National Portfolio Days

High School Visits
GW visits many high schools around the world. Ask your high school counseling office when GW might be visiting your school.


College Fairs
GW attends numerous college fairs throughout the year. This fall, we will be at the NACAC National College Fairs in Boston, Birmingham, New Orleans, Denver, Kansas City, Phoenix, St. Louis, Omaha, Indianapolis, Washington D.C., Atlantic City, and Philadelphia.
