Readmission
If you took one or more semesters away from your studies at GW and wish to return, your first step is to apply for readmission. The application fee is waived and applications are accepted at any time as long as they adhere to the deadlines for each semester.
Students seeking readmission must:
- Be in good academic standing
- Have official transcripts sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions from all other institutions of higher education they attended in the interim, and
- Fill out the Application for Readmission (below)
Applicants for readmission are subject to the University regulations in effect at the time of readmission.
Students previously enrolled at GW in a non-degree status must apply to GW through our traditional admission methods to enroll as a degree-seeking candidate; they must also submit all required credentials that were not submitted previously or required for non-degree admission.
Deadlines
Fall Semester: March 15
Spring Semester: October 31
Summer Sessions: 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the desired summer session
