CIEE First-Year Abroad transfer opportunity

CIEE First-Year Abroad students are welcome at the George Washington University. GW is committed to working with you to expedite your transfer experience so you can seamlessly join our community following your study abroad experience.

Application Process

GW will provide:

• Expedited application review and an application fee waiver
• A detailed report of how your coursework will transfer to GW
• Automatic consideration for merit-based scholarships 
• A competitive need-based aid package for students with demonstrated financial aid

Applicant Responsibilities:

• Completion of transfer application
• Submission of all post-secondary transcripts 
• Submission of high school transcript if you have not yet earned 30 college credits
• Submission of FAFSA and CSS Profile for need-based aid consideration
