Dharma Naik

Born and raised in the UK, I came to the United States as an international student and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (2000), a Certificate in Asian American Studies (2001), followed by a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel/Student Affairs (2003), from the University of Maryland, College Park. I bring more than 20 years of experience working across higher education, international recruitment, global partnerships, and business development.

Throughout my career, I have worked with and alongside colleges, universities, and other institutions to support recruitment, develop partnerships, and create opportunities for students. I also spent more than a decade working across South Asia before returning to the United States. These experiences have given me a global perspective and a personal understanding of the college journey—from navigating the U.S. as an international student to helping institutions and students connect across cultures and communities.

I’m very excited to use my experiences to help prospective students and their families!
