As the Special Assistant to the Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, I work with student-athlete recruits and help to shape GW’s diversity recruitment initiatives and partnerships. I began my career in higher education as a Student Affairs professional, developing community in residence halls; I have also worked in new student orientation, alumni relations and fundraising/development.
I earned a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Virginia and an M.Ed. in Higher Education from the University of Vermont. I have lived in DC for 20 years, and my husband and I have raised four children in London and here in the District. (We are now turning our attentions to our Basset Hound, Labrador Retriever and two cats, all of whom are only slightly cheaper to raise.)
My favorite part about being a member of the GW community is the marvelous people I have met along the way – colleagues, guest speakers, community activists – who have all shaped my own life-long learning!
