I am Lisa O’Quinn, a native Washingtonian, with a background in admissions, transfer programs, managing career development and internship programs, adult education and civic engagement. I have extensive community college experience, having served as a faculty member at Northern Virginia Community College and look forward to assisting transfer students, adult students and military in enrolling at GW and working with our community college partners.

I began my career in higher education counseling returning adults and designing adult student programs and graduate awards. I have also worked in academic advising, recruitment, workforce development, business development and forged partnerships between institutions of higher education and government agencies and nonprofits. I also held a fellowship at Dublin City University, Dublin Ireland in civic engagement. I have earned a BA from Catholic University, MS from Syracuse University and Ed.D. from the George Washington University. I have lived in Northern Virginia over 20 years with my husband and our two cats, Lord Admiral Duncan and Frank McCourt, all of whom require much pampering and spoiling. I love traveling abroad, art and photography.
