Ellie Frank

As an Assistant Director of Admissions on the Transfer and Spring Admissions team, I am committed to assisting applicants through the somewhat daunting process of a nontraditional college admissions experience and helping them access all the amazing resources GW has to offer! 

I started my higher education journey as a University Scholar at the University of Chicago, where I earned my B.A. in English while completing the premedical track. After graduating, I pursued a graduate certificate in Biology from Harvard’s Extension School and a professional certificate in Data Science from CodeOp as an Edie Windsor Scholar.

I have a professional background in higher education admissions consulting, education, and clinical healthcare, and I use my interdisciplinary experience to help students from any academic background proceed through the admissions process. I am delighted to now join the wonderful Admissions team here at GW!

Born and raised in the DMV (that's the D.C., Maryland, Virginia area), I love continually exploring all that the nation’s capital has to offer—specifically new Smithsonian exhibitions and the beautiful local bike trails! At home, I enjoy reading, fiber crafts, and creating new baking recipes.
